S.I.S. MINISTRY
The SIS ministry is an effective support and service organization for Christian women in their late 20's and 30's. SIS was originally designed for single women; however, many married women have been incorporated into the ministry. The dual need of support and service for this ministry developed as a result of younger women first lacking personal support from their peers and secondly not being involved with community outreach. SIS has grown to meet a more specific source of support and an outlet for service. Remember our cups are to run over into the lives of others!

OUR MISSION

Sister Support
It is our desire for women to have a place of refuge from harsh attacks in life. Prayer fellowship are designed to offer a sharing circles for needs. The Date With God retreat and seminars are offered for spiritual growth. In addition, core groups are formed at prayer and the retreat to offer women the specialized ministry of sharing with those in similar situations.

Community Service
As young women, we want to become active in our service to the Lord. By becoming involved in select community programs, we allow our time to be given to our inner cities through involvement with specialized events. Whether helping children, the elders or feeding the homeless, we are determined to touch lives in need of help and compassion.

PRESIDENT'S LETTER

Dear SiS:

Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! It is a blessing for me to have the opportunity to tell you about an exciting event taking place right now as we speak! Did you know that there are a group of Christian women that have decided that they are going to maximize every season of their lives? Yes, right now a group called Sisters Inspirting Sisters is getting serious about their commitment to Christ!

I am so excited to have the opportunity to share this vision with you. We are Sisters united through Christ Jesus coming together to inspire one another in holy living and conformity to God's will. We have especially dedicated the season of being single to support our peers and to serve our Lord. It is my prayer, as the President of such an extraordinary organization, that if you are single or engaged or newly married and needing to enhance your relationship with the Lord that you will take a closer look at SiS and get involved with this great move of God.

If you don't live in the Los Angeles area, you can still join us every year for our Date With God Retreat. This is a unique get-away where we break down stereo types and myths about young women. We have an uncommon format that brings about the most powerful form of change! Won't you join us?

We are serious sisters, and we are helping our SiS excel in Christ!

PALM STREET KIDS AT 2002 CHRISTMAS PARTY

As Sisters Inspiring Sisters continues in our endeavors to grow women in the Word of God through godly support and community service training, we have grown considerably. We have since found it necessary to acquire a place of central operation to facilitate and administratively service ministry operations. May 1, 2003 marks the opening of The SiS House.

The SiS House is a place of central operation to host monthly meeting, prayer sessions, outreach and fellowship functions, counseling, the ME Management discipleship program, and a variety of social/economic sponsored programs. Our most immediate service project is to underprivileged children, The Palm Street Kids, which will begin with a tutoring program. Our most immediate support project is the beginning of Lil’ SiS, which is our ministry to teen girls between the ages of 13—18.

In an effort to meet our financial goals, we have identified ways for our friends to offer support.

All gifts are tax deductible. Year-end statements will be issued.

The following scripture is our prayer for you as you bless this ministry. Won’t you consider joining us in our efforts to build up our community through biblical application.

You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
